Mayan Tacos
First of all, I hope the new, slightly different look of my blog works for you, my readers. This change definitely makes the blog more vertical, if anything.

So, I went out to the Diamond Bar area today and on my way back home, I saw a Subway and decided to stop there to have lunch. I was about to go in when I noticed a place next door called Mayan Tacos. I turned on my heels and went into Mayan Tacos.

Mayan Tacos turned out to be a fairly decent neighborhood taqueria, even though it was located in a kind of industrial park - poor location. The menu has Mexican fare as well as hamburgers and french fries.

I ordered a chorizo Soft Taco (1 USD) - garnished with onion and cilantro - and a Regular Burrito al pastor (5.5 USD)  with beans, rice, onion, and cilantro.

Overall the food was a decent effort: It was authentic. The flavor of pork came out quite well in the pastor, which I can't say is always the case at many Mexican restaurants.

A big plus: Mayan Tacos has Orange Bang! I could hang out for hours getting refills.

It seems "Mayan" is just a name: The food here isn't Mayan in any sense of the word.

How Much I Paid: 8.87 USD.

My Rating: Half a star out of four stars (satisfactory to good). The cashier was very nice. She brought my food to my table and checked on me when I was almost finished to see if I needed anything else. Website: http://mayantacos.com/
